Great food, great service.
We ate lunch here today. Taco salad & Santa Fe casserole were both very good on a cold day. Service was excellent & friendly.
I was apprehensive to stop in to this restaurant as Mexican food is my absolute FAV...sadly disappointed...chicken seemed like it was cheap processed bagged meat that I actually thought was steak at first and it just went downhill from there :( veggies were not cooked and the rice tasted ... I can’t even explain ... the Beans tastes like they were swimming in enchilada sauce :( ... I was asked how things were going but when I wasn’t overwhelming happy the waitress walked off and when I paid the bill the cashier blew me off as well ...see picture...under cooked green peppers and onions ... and didn’t take it to go as I knew I wouldn’t eat it :(
Great fresh hot food.Mrs. & myself really like the place.
Awsome. They have the best food I have ever tasted.
Food was hot and generously proportioned. Margaritas for happy hour hit the spot. All you can eat chips and salsa. Hmm hmm
Huge portions for value. Had fajitas for 2. Great service but a table for 4 full figured people was tight on space. Will return soon.
Awesome place. Great, friendly staff. Food was reasonably priced and delicious.
The food was great. People who complain just bought something they didn't like in the first place. Place is always packed on weekends for a reason. Great drinks and unlimited chips with salsa and sour cream! Love to eat at Gringos.
Great food and great people.
It was ok, not great - not bad.
A world class restaurant! Attention to detail is on point! The food is delicious.
Interesting new taste. I've never had southwest Mexican food, but their take on it was good. I had the super sancho, which is a burrito covered in enchilada sauce and had everything a burrito should have with a twist. Olives. I'm not a fan of olives but somehow it worked on this dish. I didn't miss a single bite.
Great menu. Wonderful food fast service. I can't express how great their food was.
Love this place and their food is awesome!
Got the lunch special beef burrito. Was pretty filling. I ordered it take out, didn't have to wait long, and i made it home to a still hot meal!!! Kinda higher priced though for a special. All in all good experience.
Great food, great staff
Always great food and great friendly service.
It's family friendly (and can be romantic) and serves the best food. I'm from Minnesota but whenever we come to Nebraska to visit, I always go to Gringos Cantina. 100% recomended!
Service was very good. Food was fast, and delicious. Prices were fair. I'll be coming back again
Convenient self-service for chips and salsa. Nice staff. Large portions!
Priced high as ever. Cant get any chips and salsa to go when you get take out as it's only for dine in. Should be able to get a small bunch of chips and salsa just like eat in it's the same cost. The quality and consistency is the same from time to time.
Great food. Little over priced. Friendly staff. Would recommend this place!!
This place is a completely pathetic excuse for Mexican/Tex-Mex food. Service was average, but my god, we can't get over how absolutely horrible the food was. Easily the worst "Mexican" food we've ever had. Paying the bill was painful. The enchilada sauce tasted rancid. The salsa for the chips is SWEET, somehow. My husband ordered the enchiladas and I ordered the tamales. We weren't expecting anything authentic, but goodness, this was bad. My tamales were literally just boiled, un-seasoned pork inside some crumbly dough. When I say they weren't seasoned, I mean ZERO seasoning -- not even salt! We are from the south. So we've had some spectacular Mexican food before. That being said, I fully understand we're in Nebraska -- folks here aren't used to a lot of spice and we weren't expecting anything authentic. Our expectations were pretty low -- but Gringo's somehow succeeded in going WAY below them anyway.
Always great food and staff!
Great local Mexican food. Worth a visit if you are in Fremont.
A huge factor in good Mexican food for me is the salsa. Gringo's has an unlimited eat in salsa bar allowing me to create the perfect mix of spicy. The gives them the 4th star. As far as food, they offer standard Mexican American fare (wouldn't recommend if looking for authentic). No frills, but consistently decent with friendly staff and quick meals. I am partial to the Sancho. There is something about the way the beef melts the cheese into the lettuce that has kept me coming back here since I was 18 years old (I'm 40 now). Occasionally, I crave the salsa and make a 1.5 hr round trip drive to Gringo's from Omaha.
Food is ALWAYS phenomenal and consistent. Great place to go if your looking for quick and friendly service.
Paid 23 dollars for a pork tamale which was tasteless, a hard shell taco where the meat had barely any taste to it and the chimichanga which was good but also got a tiny scoop of beans and rice. Beans and rice are cheap stop being a cheap restaurant and give people good food for the money youre charging or drop your price
Nice little Tex Mex. Salsa bar with chips. Family loves going there. Very rare to have bad service.
Free Nacho bar while you wait for food. Fast service
Delicious food ok prices, nice front desk lady. Come here every year for my birthday
Love the salsa bar and the ranch is to amazing for words
When I went in I was a little early for the dinner meal and I was met at the door and seated right away. I like the selection of items that they had on their menu, the decor in the restaurant was set up to fit the meals so you get the right atmosphere why you eat. When my dinner came it looked very appealing and gave you a feeling of oh eat me. This is one of Fremont great places to go out to eat at.
Yummmn. Drove in from Omaha for lunch. I got the fried chicken burrito, my partner got the fried beef burrito. Help yourself all-you-can-eat chips and salsa bar with different salsas/hot sauces/ranch/jalepenos. Friendly service. Wish Omaha had a place like this.
Went in later. Got order ready. And ate at home. Hot. Seasonings on side. Nice clean
Great food and friendly service!
Our favorite Mexican food place in Fremont. Clean with a nice south-of-the-border decor. Chips and salsa(s) appetizer is tasty. Food selection is great and we love their margaritas. Always greeted with a smile and seated and served promptly. Food is served hot and steaming. Highly recommend this nice casual restaurant!
Never had a bad meal, or service here. Food always hot and delicious, and fast. Complementary chips and sauces. Highly recommend.
Food was delicious! I had a tamale and tacos. Service was great. Building is cool and decorated nice. Very clean!
The food is always good
Flat taste. Needs more seasoning.
Large portions and a nacho bar with ranch dressing...great stop when you're hungry for Mexican
Nice people and service, but probably the least Mexican tasting food I’ve had. Even Taco Bell is better, and half the cost. The enchilada sauce tasted more like pasta sauce, the salsa tasted store-bought, and the rice had to have come from a rice a roni box. I guess that’s why it’s called gringos.
Good food and friendly 👍
Always get great food and huge portions. Fantastic Mexican food.
It's surprisingly easy for me to get things that stick to all my dietary restrictions. And really good things.
Amazing food & friendly staff!
This place has the same menu as Taco Del Sol in Columbus but it is much cheaper in Columbus. Fried ice cream is $3.00 cheaper in Columbus.
Customer service was great and food was great
